    Description

4 Antique Amber (Brown) Malt Extract Crown Cap Squat Beer Bottles - Late 1800's
These bottles were all probably made in the late 1800's. The bottles appear to be hand blown, in a two-piece mold, with raised vent marks on the shoulders.
The bottles have many visible air bubbles embedded in the glass.
One of the bottles has a raised embossed "WF&S MIL." on the base, which denotes the bottles were made by Northern Glass Works somewhere between 1896 and 1900. This
bottle is 7 7/8 inches tall, and 2 7/8 inches wide, measured at the base.
    The other three bottles
    have no identifying marks. They
measure 8x3 inches, but are otherwise very close in shape and construction.
The bottles were simply rinsed off and wiped down with warm water and a soft cloth. None have been professionally cleaned.
