    Description

    This is an early, whittled blob top beer bottle that's blown in mold and dates to about 1880-1895:
    D.S.G. Co. F
    ( base embossed) DeSteiger Glass Company, LaSalle, Illinois- c1879- c1896.
    Measures 9-3/8" tall by 2-1/2" diameter, with a hand tooled blob, great looking lip and neck swirl, with whittle and entrapped air bubbles throughout the glass.
    In excellent condition without any chips or cracks, just some high point wear around the shoulders, otherwise fine.
