    Description

These paver bricks are from Route 66 located in Miami, Oklahoma. Please see the Certificate of Authenticity for details. Miami was going through an improvement to it's main street when digging reveled the bricks that were beneath the street. These bricks were part of the paving used in 1916 to support the street car line which ran through Miami that would become route 66.  These  bricks came from the part of main where the famous Coleman theater is located. The route lead to Commerce, Oklahoma, a few miles north and the birthplace of Mickey Mantle. Miami is also famous for many renowned residents such as Steve and Cassie Gaines of Lynard Skynyrd, Steve Owens, Heisman Trophy winner, Carol Littleton, film editor of E.T. and several Hollywood hit movies, Lucien Ballard, first working for Paramount then on to Twentieth Century Fox as a cinematographer and chief cameraman. He did everything from The Three Stooges to Western epics to film noir. He worked for and with Howard Huges (The Outlaw), Stanley Kubrick, Walt Disney, Sam Peckinpah, Henry Hathaway (True Grit), Blake Edwards, and many more. He knew and worked with the stars of Hollywood. The studio of Charles Banks Wilson, famous Miami artist, is located across main street from the Coleman where these bricks came were laid over 105 years ago. These bricks are a treasure to own. I am part of a group that has dug the bricks out of the mud, cleaned, pressure washed, sealed, labeled, and placed them for sale to help Miami grow with music scholorships, and promote our rich history to attract tourists for healthy growth of our community. There are a limited number of these brick available, about 200. They will be shipped in priority USPS boxes at about for shipping and handling. for this truly collectable brick plus shipping/handling is a bargin. This price is for the lower US 48 states. International sales are not available at this time but may be later. This will be based on the number of USA sales we encounter. The brick you recieve
will look very similiar to the one in the photo. Thank you for your support.
